Taylen loves the bond he has with his teammates. He loves being able to go out there with his buddies and going head to head with them. Whether it’s wrestling or football, he loves practicing and seeing his hard work yield results. He loves the competition and he loves to dominate his competitors. His words lol. He loves that his family gets to see him play and compete. He is very proud when his family is watching and that is the part he loves most about sports.
His bonus dad inspires him because he still plays football and trains at a high level. He also is one of the coaches on his team so that allows him to see his bonus dad pouring into his friends and teammates like he pours into him. His mom inspires him because she is in law school and still make sure she takes care of the family and makes all of his competitions. He also says the Philadelphia Eagles inspire him because they played very hard and their hard work earned them a championship.
There are plenty but the one at the top of the list is when he made the game securing tackle on a 4th and 1. This game was to see which team would take the title of 3rd best 10u team in the nation this past season. This was his first year playing football. He finished the season making the all star team, being the best defensive end in the league, and making the most crucial play in that national football game. I picked him up as high as I could, ran with him, and cried tears of joy.
