He loves the commitment and the mindset required for each sport he plays, has played. Additionally, he loves that he's able to build comradery with his friends and teammates and even players from opposing teams. He loves learning from his coaches and older players. And also, it keeps him in shape.
He says, I, his mom inspires him because of my work ethic. He also says, the sacrifice that I've made for him and his sisters inspires him to want to be the son and brother that we can be proud of in all aspects of his life.
So far, I would say the tenacity and strength he shown when he broke his ankle last season during his 3rd football game. He never left the field and stayed to encourage his teammates. And although his injury had him out for the remainder of the season, he continued to work on his skillset and training to be ready for his wrestling season. He was cleared to compete by the last 2 weeks and was able to snag 3rd place victory in his weight class at the end of season division championship.
