Theo loves to compete and he has fun doing it! Doesn’t matter if it’s basketball, soccer, flag football, baseball- he goes out there and gives his best. He supports his teammates, thrives on his confidence with his game and how he contributes to the team. Always hopes for the win but if it doesn’t happen, he learns from it.
Theo inspires himself. And his dad inspires him. Dad teaches him that it’s not about today it’s about the future and to keep working. That’s the mentality Theo shows up with. He’s a work in progress. He puts the work in and loves when he sees the outcome. He feels good about competing.
Oh wow, there’s so many! It was a flag football game, it was probably his best, most impactful game, against a great team. He had 3 touchdowns, blocked their top guy numerous times, a ton of flag pulls. At the end of his game with the win, even though he seemed happy he seemed off. I could tell by his eyes. Went home, he had a 102 fever. He never said anything until we got home. He said “my team needed me to show up.” I would’ve supported him not playing but he pushed through for his team.
