Theo loves the challenge baseball provides. You never know how each practice, game and at bat will go and what learning opportunities will arise. Baseball is a sport with a variety of positions, and he enjoys working on both his defensive and offensive skills as a first baseman, third baseman, pitcher, and outfielder. Working as part of a team also provides a chance to make friends and have fun together.
Theo is a huge Blue Jays fan and his favourite player is Alejandro Kirk. Kirk isn’t the biggest or fastest player, but he works hard to be an amazing contributor as a catcher and hitter.
Theo’s hitting was inconsistent and he didn’t make the highest team he wanted last year, so he worked hard on the off season, training indoors over the winter. His efforts have really helped improved his hitting and he even made a travel team this year.
