What he loves most about playing football is the adrenaline and the brotherhood. He thrives on the energy of game day, the crowd, the competition, and the excitement of giving it everything he’s got. Football has taught him discipline, resilience, and the importance of teamwork. Being part of a team that pushes each other to grow, both on and off the field, is something he truly values.
On and off the field, he’s inspired by his parents and by athletes who lead with both passion and character. He looks up to players who work hard, stay humble, and never give up… especially those who’ve overcome obstacles to reach their goals. Off the field, he’s motivated by the support and example of his family, who constantly remind him that greatness comes from effort, attitude, and heart. Their belief in him fuels his drive to be better every day.
One moment that makes me the proudest was seeing him push through a tough game when everything seemed to be working against him. He didn’t give up… not on himself, not on his team. He showed heart, leadership, and grit beyond his years. Watching him walk off that field, exhausted but proud of how he gave it his all, reminded me just how strong and determined he is. Moments like that let me know he’s not just growing as an athlete, but as a young man too.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
