My son wants to play baseball because he truly enjoys being a part of a team. He feels a strong connection with his teammates, and the time they spend practicing, playing, and supporting each other means a lot to him. Being on the field brings some joy. It’s where he feels confident, focused, and free to have fun doing something he loves.
Trae’s identical, twin brother, is who inspires him, who used to play baseball alongside him, is now away at military school, but remains a constant source of inspiration for Trae. Weather on or off the field, my son looks up to his brother‘s strength, discipline, and determination. Their bond pushes him to work harder and play with heart, carrying a piece of his brother with him every time he steps onto the diamond.
We had an incredible moment where he hit two triple RBI during a perfect game tournament and played so well he was recognized and invited to future events. His hard work, focus, and love for the game truly shine through. I’m so proud of him, not just for the big place, but for the dedication and determination he shows every time he steps onto the field.
