What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Trent loves the team, the support they provide and the family that they become. Trent plays sports year-round and has amazing passion for the game and he is so eager to learn from his team mates and coaches. The personal growth over the last few years has been amazing to whiteness. Trent is humble and kinds and is the first one on the team to be there for his team mates, always cheering them on and bringing them up when they are down. They say he has the loudest voice on the field and the court!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Trent is inspired by so many! He is the youngest in a big sports family and wants to prove he can wear those big shoes too! His coaches have been instrumental to his personal growth, love for the game and for his team (family as he calls it). Trent is dedicated to being a better player, listening and fallowing directions. His teammates are just as important and inspirational; they offer great support and learn a lot from each other. He is constantly trying to better himself.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Trent has been on a travel baseball and football team for several years; Trent is not the fastest or most skilled player on the team. He spent much of his first years on the bench/sideline. This past year Trent has grown tremendously as an athlete, putting in some much extra time in the field and in the cage. He gets to practice early, stays late with the coaches’ getting pointers whenever he can, never misses practice or games. He hit his first out of the park grand slam!
