Tripp Everett has several football players he likes to watch, Cooper Kupp, Justin Jefferson. Jim Everett from the Rams has been a big influence on him and sends him football advice every season. Tripp has been able to hang out with Diego Pavia at Vanderbilt, NMSU and a bunch of the SMU guys. (James Proche, Tanner Mordecai, Reggie Roberson etc) He’s also had the chance as one of the youngest kids ever to train with David Robinson Off the field he looks up to his namesake and grandfather
Tripp played 3 football games on a broken foot. He toughed it out for all three games and when I asked him if he was ok he always said “Yes I can play” after the third game I asked him if he was injured or hurt? Took a lot of guts for him to say he was injured. We took him to the Dr and it was broken. He says “I can still play, it doesn’t hurt that bad” Proud of his toughness and courage.
