My grandfather inspires me because he’s always been there to help me practice and push myself. He’s also helped me stay focused and mentally strong, both on and off the field.
One moment that makes me super proud of Tristan is how she came back after her ankle surgery. She could have been bummed out, had victim mentality or make excuses but not Tristan. That young lady put in WORK to be ready to play her high school season after just receiving clearance from the surgeon. It was then that I knew it was so much bigger than softball for her. I saw resiliency, strength, determination and bravery.
