My child has successfully participated in both soccer and track, is a team player in both sports, encourages teammates to do their best

Tristan loves running track because of the accomplishments and making friends. He has been running for the same team since he was 5. He has joined soccer this year because of his brother and he loves playing it and enjoys the thrill while on the field. In both sports the team became a family for him and I love that because family is very important to us.
I asked Tristan who inspires him and he said, “My big brother JaCarter inspires me because he is good at soccer and I want to be just like him. My mom also inspires me through her faith in God and all her hard work that she does for me, my brother and sister and I aspire to put in as much work so I that I can be successful and make life easier for her.”
One of Tristan's best moments in his athletic journey that makes me the proudest, happened recently during the AAU qualifiers with his track team. He got third place in his event and made it to the Junior Olympics in Texas this month.
