What he loves most about playing his sport is the brotherhood, the challenge, and the opportunity to grow. Football has taught him discipline, focus, and how to push through adversity. He thrives in the intensity of the game, but it’s the relationships—with his teammates, coaches, and even his opponents—that means the most to him.
He’s most inspired by his parents and his coaches. His parents have shown him what hard work, faith, and perseverance look like—always pushing him to stay grounded and focused, no matter the obstacles. his Step-dad taught him everything about football and they share a bond. His coaches inspire him with their belief in his potential and their constant challenge to be better every day, not just as an athlete but as a young man.
The moment that made me most proud was his drive and determination to earn a varsity spot at just 14 years old. From the moment he entered high school as a freshman, he set his sights on making the varsity team—and not just making it, but starting. He worked relentlessly, stayed focused, and never let his age or inexperience become an excuse. Seeing him achieve that goal his very first year, against all odds, was a powerful reminder of his heart, grit, and work ethic. He truly earned it.
