What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Tyler loves improving his skills, being part of a team, and just playing. He plays many different positions in each sport because he’ll go wherever the coach wants him, he just wants to be on the field/court. In football, he loves throwing a touchdown or running the ball and juking other players. He loves baseball because batting and pitching keep him growing as an athlete. He loves basketball because it challenges his ball handling skills. His grit and determination make him a great leader.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Tyler’s dad, John, inspires him on the field. He has always been there to help him practice and grow each season. His mom, Nicole, inspires him off the field as she teaches him leadership skills and is his biggest fan always. He looks up to Patrick Mahomes and thinks he’s the GOAT .

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I’m of course proud of each touchdown, home run, big hit, and shot made, but what makes us the proudest is the kind gestures and words that Tyler has for his teammates- “Here, use my bat.” “Come over to my house and I’ll help you”. I smile every time I see him take initiative to practice at home.
