Tyler says his parents are a huge inspiration for him. His parents were teenagers when he was born, but ended up creating a beautiful life together and making sure he had every opportunity to succeed as an athlete.
When Tyler was playing 10U baseball he broke his ankle at the very beginning of a 1 day tournament. He never complained or asked to sit out (despite his mom's insistence) because his team would have to forfeit without him. Their team won the championship that night!
