What I love the most about playing hockey is the adrenaline and intensity of the game. There’s nothing quite like the speed, skating at full tilt, chasing down the puck, making split-second decisions. The combination of physicality and finesse keeps it exciting; you have to be tough, but also skilled and smart. I also love the camaraderie, being part of a team that supports each other, battles together, and celebrates the highs and learns from the lows.
Many great hockey players inspire me, from young players getting drafted to the OHL to NHL legends, they all teach me something different and motivate me to be better. The amazing coaches I have had have all been inspiring. My family, who believe in me and are my biggest fans inspired me every time I step out on the ice.
I realized very early on that Tyler plays with heart and sportsmanship. After a tough loss or season, Tyler embraces it with grace and respects his teammates, coaches and opponents.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
