What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Tyree loves learning about the game of basketball but more importantly he loves to read and he loves to ask questions about his family history.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His 94 year old great grandmother inspires him off the field by her strength. He loves to visit her and ask her questions about her childhood. He’s inspired on the field by his deceased grandfather whom he had a very close relationship with. His grandfather played professional basketball in Spain and Argentina. He passes away suddenly on 2/10/24 at the age of 53. Tyree’s dream is to play in the NBA solely to honor his grandfather.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The proudest moment has been him training in the gym with his coaches and other athletes. He is very coachable and a very respectful kid. That’s what I am most proud of. His respect for his coaches and teammates.
