You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
Tyrell loves to compete! He thrives in high energy situations! The intensity of the games he plays is what he looks forward to. When it comes to football or baseball, he loves being on the field. He loves to contribute and lift his teammates up. He’s played baseball since he was 5 and football since he was 6. Being an athlete is a big part of who he is, and as he has grown, he’s continued to be more and more of an all around player.
Tyrell is inspired by the family ties to football. His grandfather played football and wore #44. His father wore #44, and now he wears #44. Off the field, he is inspired by his love of community and wanting to be a positive member of his community. He is surrounded by strong minded individuals, and that inspires him to stay focused and locked in so he too can grow up to be a strong minded individual.
Tyrell’s athletic journey is full of proud moments. The most proud moment of his journey I witnessed is his willingness to give back and teach those younger than him. He wants them to learn the game (football or baseball) and grow to love it he does. He literally thinks he’s a coach sometimes, and that couldn’t make me more prouder to see him give back in that way, without being tasked to do so.
