What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves playing baseball because it’s more than just a game to him—it’s where he feels most alive. He enjoys the challenge, the competition, and the feeling of stepping onto the field with his teammates. The sound of the bat, the thrill of a close play, and the rush of a big win give him a sense of purpose and pride. Baseball teaches him discipline, patience, and teamwork. But most of all, he loves it because it’s where he can truly be himself—focused, passionate, and driven.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

What inspires him to play baseball both on and off the field is the memory of his grandfather, who also loved and played the game. Even though he’s no longer here, his grandfather’s passion for baseball lives on through him. Every time he steps onto the field, he feels that connection like he’s carrying on a legacy. It’s more than just a sport to him; it’s a way to honor someone he looked up to deeply. That inspiration gives him the drive to work harder, play with heart, and always give his best

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

His baseball journey made me incredibly proud was when he showed true heart and determination more than just skill. Whether it was a game winning hit, a clutch play on defense, or the way he lifted his teammates during a tough inning, it was in that moment I saw his passion, leadership, and love for the game shine through. It wasn’t just about stats or winning it was about the kind of athlete and young man he’s becoming. That moment reminded me why I’m so proud of him, both on and off the field.
