What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Vedder thrives on the camaraderie of his teammates and the thrill of competition. He embraces every moment—whether draining a shot on the court or soaring mid-air with a powerful kick. Vedder also runs track in the spring. His athleticism, passion, and drive are evident in everything he does. Always eager to improve, Vedder is fueled by a love for learning, whether it's mastering new forms, earning a new PR, or sharpening his game.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

On and off the mat and court, Vedder draws inspiration from those around him. He credits his karate instructors and Team 313 coaches for shaping his skills and driving his success. The Process basketball coach motivates him across all sports, constantly pushing him to reach his full potential. Vedder also finds inspiration in his older brother and teammate on Team 313, as well as his biggest fans—his parents and grandparents—who are always cheering the loudest from the sidelines.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Recently Vedder competed in ISKA US Open in Florida. He trained constantly, seeking feedback, and working to improve. He also was conditioning during basketball so all of this added to his upcoming karate competition. He went into the US open with a goal to do better than last year and earn a spot on stage for the night of victory. Vedder succeeded. The amount of dedication and heart that he brought to the mat was palpable. We truly are proud of him achieving his goals.
