What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

The fun, the competition, the camaraderie, learning becoming a better player and doing what he was taught properly. Victor loves teaching the younger players being a positive role model. Victor loves learning from his coaches and teammates, also becoming friends and getting to know them. Not getting down on a bad play, learning from it, and moving on. Victor loves pitching the most. That by far is his favourite part of playing.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Well my dad does. , because he does everything for me to get better. He always helps me. He makes spending time and bonding with me his priority. He is firm but fair with me. I learn a lot from my dad and he enjoys teaching me. Nothing worth it, is easy in life, my dad teaches me you have to work hard and sacrifice to get ahead. I’m so proud of him. I love him. He loves me too.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

There is a few that come to mind but, when we were in Texas, playing against the U12AAA baseball team. Victor is a pitcher and he was striking the kids out. I’ve never seen him throw better or harder. He was striking out older, more experienced & stronger kids. The parents, players & coaches from the other team were approaching Victor just to give him credit for his play after the game. Victors teammates & coaches all congratulated him for his excellent play. Victor was on cloud 9
