Vivian loves everything about dance but her favorite part is the tumbling . She has worked hard over the last 5 years to master tumbling tricks to take her routines to the next level ! She loves the teamwork it takes to pull off a clean routine and all the time spent with her teachers and teammates . She also plays travel softball and loves the feeling of catching a ball , making a play or hitting a “bomb”!!
She has many inspirations . Her teachers especially Ms Shauna and Ms. Jess inspire her, push her to be her best and believe in her everyday. The older kids at the studio are constant sources of encouragement and inspiration. Vivian is often found in the wings of the stage admiring how beautifully the older kids routines are !
This summer after 4 years of travel softball the decision was made to switch Vivi from a right handed batter to a left handed batter . Her recent diagnosis of vision loss in her left eye made it hard for her to see the ball coming . After a winter of work with her dad she took the field and struck out for 3 tournaments . She did not cry , she did not complain , she kept working and since then has been crushing the ball and the smile on her face says it all !
