I would like to say it's the obvious, scoring baskets, making plays and hitting home runs, but after watching Weston play multiple sports for the past 8+ years, I believe he truly just loves being with his friends and teammates.
Weston is inspired by his older brother, Cameron. Even with an 11 year age gap between the two, they have an incredible bond. Cameron is encouraging and supportive of Weston on and off the field.
It's hard to pin point one moment that makes me the proudest. Throughout the years he has won several tournaments and championships. I am proud of all of his accomplishments, what I am most proud of his work ethic on and off the field. After basketball games he is outside in the freezing temps working on his shot or in the garage work on his ball handling. He understands that his position on his team is earned and he needs to keep working.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
