Weston loves the thrill of the competition and the bond he shares with his teammates on and off the field. Win or lose, he’s always excited to give it his all.
Weston is inspired by athletes like Jayden Daniels, Justin Jefferson, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. He looks up to many athletes, not just for their talent, but for the way they carry themselves on and off the field.
One of my proudest moments in Weston’s athletic journey was during RBA, he was killing it that year and top scorer on his team. There was a game that the team was pretty far ahead and Weston asked his coach if he could start passing everyone else the ball so the kids that hadn’t had a chance to score could get some points. His coach thought that was an excellent idea, and he was named best team player that year, and we were all so proud.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
