Join the CompetitionSports consume William. He is neurodivergent. OCD and ADHD, born with a cognitive disorder as a preemie. He has to work so hard in the classroom but on the court, course or field, he’s totally confident. Competing is his favorite thing to do. He will play ping pong for hours. He will hit range balls for hours. I wake up at 5:30am most days and often find him in the driveway hitting tennis balls against the rebounder. Sports give him purpose and confidence. His teammates love his thoughtfulness.
Rory. Alcaraz, Messi. Ben Shelton. Lamar Jackson. He loves many athletes but Charlie Woods is his fav. He has me (dad) call him Charlie and he calls me Tiger when we practice and play.
He was playing a much older female in tennis (and beating her) and hit a winner behind her. She fell and sprained her ankle trying to stop and get to the ball. He sprinted over to her as she sat on the court crying and holding her ankle. He helped her up and helped her to a bench. He patted her back as they walked and hugged her when she sat down. Then ran to get her some ice. I have it on video and it will choke you up. He has the best heart for others.
