For Willie, playing sports isn’t just about winning, it’s about having fun, staying active, and doing his best every time he steps out there. His energy, heart, and love for the game shine through in everything he does.

Off the field, he’s inspired by being a good role model, making others smile, and learning new things. Willie is motivated by purpose he knows he’s playing for more than just points. One moment that made me proud was when Willie encouraged a teammate who felt like giving up. As a single mom, it’s tough juggling everything and praying I’m doing enough. But in that moment, I saw the kindness, strength, and leadership in him, and I knew something was working. He wasn’t just playing a sport he was showing heart. That moment reminded me that all the sacrifices are building something greater in him.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
