Willie’s journey into being a pitcher has been extremely inspiring to watch, a joy to be a part of. Watching him stay focused & determined on the mound while facing tough moments with grace and sportsmanship. His confidence & commitment to improve his batting & base running led to a pivotal moment in All-Stars where he was at a force out on home base & he jumped over the catcher to score a run. Instead of being forced out he knew he had to make a quick decision and find a way to tie the game.
