Thank you for generously supporting Wyatt in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
Wyatt loves being apart of a team. He has built long lasting friendships with his team members. It also provides a sense of accomplishment through competition & it is a fun way for him to stay active.
The person that inspires Wyatt on & off the field is his dad, Steve. Wyatt loves that his dad helps coach. And, although he makes him & his team do the box of death at practices, he does love that he gets to share this experience with him. Wyatt also mentioned how his dad is his #1 fan & he knows that his dad loves him very much.
There has been a few moments of Wyatt's journey that has made me proud. One being he is only 9, but will be playing on the U12 team in the fall. I feel the bump up will showcase his efficient skill level. But, the biggest moment was when Wyatt & his team went undefeated at the PA West Tournament this June. The boys demonstrated remarkable perseverance & left everything on the field. The team's championship win was a tear-jerking moment!
