What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What my son loves most about playing sports is the thrill of competition and the bond he builds with his teammates. Whether it’s football, basketball, or baseball, he lights up on the field or court — it’s where he feels most confident and alive. He thrives on pushing himself to get better and enjoys the discipline that comes with training. But most of all, he loves being part of a team, working together, and supporting each other like family.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

He’s most inspired by his mom, who’s raised him as a single parent and always pushed him to work hard, stay humble, and never give up. Her strength, sacrifices, and constant support remind him that anything is possible with dedication and heart. He also looks up to his favorite athletes — not just for their talent, but for how they lead, stay focused, and overcome challenges. They motivate him to dream big and believe that one day, he can reach that level too.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of the proudest moments in his athletic journey isn’t just a single play or win — it’s watching him set goals, work hard to reach them, and grow into a true team player. He gives his all not just for himself, but for those around him. Whether he's lifting up his own teammates or showing respect and good sportsmanship to the opposing team, he leads with heart and character. Seeing him mature into an athlete who values effort, integrity, and teamwork above all else is what makes me proudest.
