Xavier loves to grow as a person both mentally and physically. He found something he was good at, at an early age so he stuck to it. He loves the way it’s built him up be a strong young man in other areas of his life. It’s contributed to how he handles challenges, how he works with others and how to celebrate both the wins and learn from the losses.
His dad inspires him on the court and off the court. His dad has shown him how to be resilient and how to keep striving even when he is over worked or feeling defeated.
I am most proud watching the growth our son has made both physically and mentally. He is also an amazing team player. He is quick, plays a strong defense and can make the shot from deep. Moreover, we never have to force him to play. Some days he trains for five hours at a time, and also volunteers with the youth and trains them because he wants to, not because we tell him to. I love watching him do what he truly loves to do. He is 100 percent hustle and heart. When he’s on the court, he’s fire.
