Basketball is like stepping into a whole New World. Everything about my day changes when I just step on the court. No matter if it’s going to the weight room or anything that has to do a Basketball. Basketball helps me go to a place of peace and puts me in a different mindset.
My Dad is not just my inspiration. He influences me to play ball. He was a great athlete. He has taught me everything I know. I just want to give back to him everything he has given to me. My Dad is the greatest.
My return to Basketball is my proudest moment in my journey. I was injured in a tournament and being able to bounce back from the injury makes me proud. I thought with my injury returning to basketball would be uncertain. I’m proud to be able to say that I’ve overcome my injury. After experiencing the lowest point of my life, right now I’m proud of my life, Proud I can say that I can play ball again.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
