Xavier loves soccer because it lets him be part of a team, build friendships, and learn teamwork. He enjoys the excitement of scoring goals and making great plays — it boosts his confidence. Win or lose, he loves staying active, having fun, and challenging himself on the field.
On the field, Xavier is inspired by Ronaldo’s skill, passion, and dedication to the game. He loves how hard Ronaldo works to be great. Off the field, Xavier looks up to his dad, who shows him that with patience, practice, and a strong mindset, he can achieve anything he sets his mind to.
My proudest moment was seeing Xavier return to the field after a tough injury that required 7 stitches. Despite the pain, he didn’t let it stop him. He was determined to show up for his team, give his best, and make them proud. His strength, courage, and love for the game truly showed that day.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
