Xavier is athlete of the year because not only has he dedicated his time and effort to be an outstanding athlete but he’s become a leader.

The amount of satisfaction it brings him, to demonstrate the hard work and discipline that he puts into being an athlete not just in practice but dedicating the time and effort on off season to not only be the best but to make his parents and family proud. He has found contentment in sports and a passion that has lead him to change generational curses and be a positive example to his peers and siblings and sports has allowed him to have dreams, goals and aspirations.
Although, he has multiple people who have had a positive impact on him. The one who inspires him the most is his dad. His dad continues to work effortlessly to ensure that Xavier continues on the right path with sports and academics. Whether it’s paying for tournament fees, sports equipment, shoes, traveling expenses, his dad shown considerable support and unconditional love for not only Xavier but his family. His dad has demonstrated to be not only an amazing dad but a positive example to all.
Xavier has a had a challenging athletic journey and he’s experienced multiple levels of basketball, football and cross country teams that has challenged him emotionally and physically but he continued to be a leader, positive and took difficult situations and learned to grow from them. Being able to have sportsmanship for his team, opponents and coaches has made me the proudest.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
