You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
What my son loves most about playing football is the moment he steps onto the football field—he's instantly overcome by a sense of peace. Out there, he can play with his friends, all working together toward one goal.
His big brother Zhamir truly inspires him. Zach used to sit on the sidelines and watch him play little league football, dreaming of being like him one day. Now he's in high school, and seeing how far he’s come makes Zach proud. On the field, he’s a beast—fearless in every catch and tackle. But it's who he is off the field that means the most to him. He talks to him, listens, and always knows how to lift him up. He cheers him on at his games and reminds him to believe in himself.
There have been many moments that made me proud, but one that stands out was when my son was named MVP of his team. He pushed through a hurt ankle, took Epsom salt baths, and played with sore ribs—all for his team. His determination never wavered. He scored 28 touchdowns, just two short of 30. He’s only 12 years old, but he has the heart of a lion. Watching him fight through pain with so much strength and passion—it moved me deeply. He’s not just talented, he’s brave.
