Thank you for generously supporting Zachary in this year’s competition. Your support helps empower the V Foundation for Cancer Research and the Why Not You Foundation in their respective missions to save lives and empower today's youth to become tomorrow's leaders.
At 13, Zachary plays hockey and baseball because he truly loves the game. He thrives on the competition, the rush of a close play, and the challenge to always improve. He loves being part of a team, making smart plays, and pushing himself to be better every day. Whether he's at the plate or on the ice, he sees the game in a way that few do—it's where he feels most alive, focused, and free. Playing isn't just fun.. it’s who he is.
Zachary is inspired by Connor McDavid for his unmatched work ethic, speed, and the way he leads by example. Off the field, his biggest inspiration is his family—they support him at every game, push him to be his best, and keep him grounded. They remind him that greatness starts with character.
One of my proudest moments was seeing Zachary step up as a leader without being asked—encouraging teammates, staying focused, and giving 110% every shift and at-bat. He leads with heart, hustle, and quiet confidence. Watching him play with passion and respect for the game reminds me why he was born to be an athlete.
