What Zach loves most about playing baseball is the bond he shares with his teammates, boys he proudly calls his brothers. He thrives on the support they give one another, both on and off the field. Whether he's pitching with focus or catching with grit, Zach gives 100% every time. For him, it's not just about the game, it's about the loyalty, the hard work, and the unbreakable connection that comes with being part of something bigger than himself.
Zach draws inspiration from his teammates and coaches who push him to work harder and stay focused, showing him the power of dedication and teamwork. Off the field, his family’s love and support motivate him to be his best self. Their encouragement teaches him resilience, humility, and the importance of never giving up His family’s unwavering love and values keep him grounded and motivated. They remind him to stay humble, work hard, and always give his best in both baseball and in life.
The proudest moment in Zach’s journey was seeing him selected as one of the top 36 players in the nation for Team USA tryouts. Watching him stand tall with “USA” across his chest during the National Anthem was unforgettable. Even though he didn’t make the final cut, that moment hit differently. It wasn’t about the outcome, but the honor, heart, and hard work it took to get there. I got to see my son live out a moment that most never get to experience and I’ve never been prouder.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
