Zaedyn loves the challenge of football. He loves opportunities to grow, any time he has a short coming he’s already mentally on the next step to fix it. He also loves his team, he’s not only a dedicated player he’s a dedicated teammate.
Zaedyns dad. He’s also an assistant coach. He always thanks him for his support and encouragement through the good and the bad. Wins and losses. He’s constantly brainstorming with his dad about how to fix and perfect his skills.
2 years ago Zaedyn’s team went undefeated all season. They went to the championship and were defeated. Zaedyn walked off the field crying and very emotional. Shortly after, he said, “Mom, I was sad but now I’m just ready to work so I am more prepared next season.” Proud is an understatement, at 8 years old he took that chip to his shoulder and turned it into determination and dedication. He trained non stop that whole offseason and hasn’t stopped since.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
