Zayden loves playing baseball because it gives him a chance to be part of a team and do something he truly enjoys. He feels proud every time he steps up to the mound, and especially when he gets a good hit and races around the bases. Being on the field with his teammates makes him feel like he belongs, and he loves cheering them on just as much as he loves playing himself. Baseball also gives him a chance to challenge himself and get better with every game and practice.
Mom! I inspire him on and off the field because i show him what it means to work hard, never give up, and always believe in yourself. Im his biggest cheerleader, always in the stands supporting him no matter the outcome, and reminding him that effort and attitude matter more than just winning. Off the field, i set an example by staying strong through tough times, being kind to others, and always putting my family first. Zayden sees how much i sacrifices for him, and it motivates him.
When he showed true heart and determination during a tough game. Even when things weren’t going perfectly—he had struck out earlier and the team was behind—he didn’t give up. Instead, he stepped back onto the field with confidence, made a big play, encouraged his teammates with a positive attitude. It wasn’t just about the score—it was about his resilience, his sportsmanship, and how much he’s grown. In that moment, I saw not just a ballplayer, but a young man learning life lessons.
