What Zay loves about the sport is being competitive and working as a team to be successful. Zay loves the small details that comes with being an elite DB and loves to encourage and celebrate his teammates and team.
Zay is inspired by great players in the league such as; Pat Surtain II, Jalen Ramsey and Nate Wiggins. He feels that all players have his build (or ideal build) and play with high football IQ as well and intensity.
Our proudest moment was when Zay worked his way to having the opportunity to play with the High School team in the spring game as an incoming Freshman. Zay was one of very few selected to play as an 8th grader and he caught an interception that sewed the game up for his team. It was amazing to see all of his hard work pay off.
