My dad's resilience through his struggles has always been a profound source of inspiration. Although Zayer has come a long way in his basketball journey he has been through his fair share of bumps on the road. He ended up getting severely hurt which put him out the game for a good while. When he came back he came back with a stronger mentality, a lot of hunger for the game and with a lot of hopes to bring home a trophy. He ended up winning the Santa Ana (CA) city league placing 1st place. He made the whole family proud to have come back that great aside of his troubles.
