You decide who will be named Youth Athlete of the Year, featured in a 3BRAND ad in Sports Illustrated, and take home $25,000
Zeek's passion for wrestling stems from a unique blend of personal challenge and strong support. He loves that even though it's an individual sport, he always has his coach and team in his corner, cheering him on. He's also incredibly thankful for every opportunity he gets. For Zeek, each new opponent is a fresh challenge, and he values the lessons learned from every match, win or lose, as it teaches him to persevere when things get tough
Zeek's greatest inspirations are his coach, Mark Lincoln, and his grandpa, Pat. Coach Lincoln teaches Zeek humility, to always do his best, and remember his roots – values Zeek strives to uphold. Grandpa Pat's wisdom, "leave it all on the mat," pushes Zeek to give his absolute all in every match, ensuring a life with zero regrets and gratitude to God. These two figures shape Zeek's character on and off the mat.
Every time Zeek "mans up" and steps on the mat, especially with his 6 AM workouts before school and six-day-a-week training, I'm incredibly proud. Watching his hard work pay off at just nine years old is amazing. Winning the World Championship in Reno last year was the standout moment. He handled immense pressure with such grace. That victory truly showcased his dedication and mental toughness.
