I love playing volleyball because it’s so much fun being part of a team! I really like working with my friends, cheering each other on, and trying to win games together. My favorite part is when I get a good hit or serve—it feels amazing! I also like learning new skills and getting better every time I play. Volleyball makes me feel strong, fast, and happy!
My young auntie was the one who first inspired me to play volleyball. She was always so cool, confident, and amazing at the game. I wanted to be just like her. She made me believe I could do it too. Now, I still think of her, but I’ve also started inspiring myself. I work hard, set goals, and push myself to keep getting better, because I know what I’m capable of.
