When Zuri was in middle school, she participated in cheer, basketball, track and field and band. Once, she had a basketball game and a band concert on the same day. Zuri was eager to fulfill her commitment to both. She competed in the basketball game, right afterwards cheered for the boys games, and immediately after she performed in the band concert while still clothed in her cheer uniform. Not onIy were we proud, but astonished at her determination.
