Receive Text UpdatesZuri lives for the sport of softball and making friends. She plays year round. She can’t get enough! She plays Delaware Express travel ball & little league, & guest plays so she’s made a lot of friends. She loves taking lessons, a good workout and practices, & also loves the excitement, the energy, the hustle & extra reps. She’s a team player, encourager & has a great attitude. She doesn’t sit still & daily strives to be better than the day before. Simply put: she loves everything softball.
First, she loves Jesus, her family, then softball.. but she truly looks up to her dad who gives so much of his time for her. Also, her mentor and coach, Brianna Stevenson, and her hitting/pitching/catching coach, Robbie Reed. She’s homeschooled and aspires to play D1 softball in college one day, and loves to watch all levels of softball games. If you ask her she’ll tell you her dream is to be like the players she watches-or to be a female Savannah Banana!
Making the USSSA All-American team-she worked hard for that. But seriously, her attitude. When she finds herself in a losing game, or things aren’t going as hoped, she still smiles & encourages her teammates. She’s the best cheerleader! She doesn’t hang her head—she rallies, and doesn’t give up & that makes us very proud as parents!! Win or lose-she’s always smiling! We could brag on her skills, but more than that, her heart is right, and no athletic journey would go anywhere without that!❤️
