Learn MoreShe loves the confidence Taekwondo gives her, the feeling of pushing past her limits and proving to herself that she can do hard things. She lights up when she’s learning new forms, mastering kicks, and feeling her strength grow. Most of all, she loves the discipline, the focus, and the joy of stepping onto the mat knowing she’s becoming better every day.
She’s inspired by her coaches, who push her with kindness and expect her best. Their belief in her makes her believe in herself. Off the mat, she’s inspired by her families strength and resilience , seeing hard work, courage, and compassion in action motivates her to carry those same qualities into her training and competitions.
The proudest moment was watching her win first place at the Iowa Summer Games. She stepped onto the mat nervous but determined, and she fought with heart, discipline, and respect. Seeing her confidence grow with every round and watching her realize what she’s capable of was unforgettable. It wasn’t just the medal it was the moment she truly believed in herself.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
