What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Aaryan is a true multisport athlete who has played Div 1 soccer, AA baseball, ball hockey, golf, track, football, basketball and volleyball starting at a young age. With these sports, he loves the new challenges and loves taking on leadership roles naturally. Aaryan's main sport now is playing elite hockey. He loves the fast pace of the game, making great plays, and always visualizes he's in the Stanley Cup finals to give it his all--his internal drive is remarkable.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Aaryan is inspired by Sidney Crosby’s determination and perseverance, particularly his decision to move away at age 14 to attend Shattuck-St. Mary’s, where he knew no one, and ultimately became one of hockey’s greatest players. He also admires Connor Bedard’s commitment to practicing and improving despite injury. Most of all, Aaryan is inspired by his parents hard work with multiple jobs & countless sacrifices to support his hockey journey while encouraging success in school and other sports.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Aaryan has worked incredibly hard throughout his athletic journey. A special moment came when he was invited to the Prime Hockey Expo in Calgary, where he competed at a high level, helped lead his team to a tournament championship, earned All-Tournament Team honours, and finished 2nd in goals and 3rd in points. Seeing the pride, joy, and accomplishment on his face after achieving these milestones was truly a proud moment, because we knew his work ethic was exceptional to get there.
