What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn Morethe excitement, competition, and always having something new to work toward. He enjoys being part of a team, encouraging his teammates, and challenging himself to become better every time he steps on the field. Whether it’s practice or game day, he simply loves being out there playing the sport he loves.
His dad is his biggest inspiration, both on and off the field. He looks up to him not only for what he teaches him about sports, but for the example he sets in life. His dad has taught him the importance of working hard, never giving up, staying humble, and always giving his best. He wants to make his dad proud, and you can see that influence in the young man and athlete he is becoming.
What makes me proudest isn’t a single hit, play, or win. it’s watching the kind of teammate he chooses to be. When another player is struggling or in a slump, he is always there to encourage them, lift them up, and remind them to keep going. Seeing him care about his teammates’ success just as much as his own makes me incredibly proud. To me, that is what being a true athlete and teammate is all about
