What she loves most about playing her sport is the team aspect of it. She loves working together with other people and winning with others. Along with that, she loves putting in the work both at practice and on her own to be the best of her abilities and get stronger and more fit in the process.
Abbi had the incredible opportunity to play on the same high school flag football team as Ariana Akey. Ari is the face of flag football right now, being the 2026 NFL Pro Bowl MVP, the first Div 1 flag football commit and numerous other accolades. And to top it all off, Ari is kind, charitable and a friend to Abbi. To be that talented and so humble has struck a chord with Abbi and made such an impact and Abbi wants to make sure she emulates such kind, charitable behavior.
Seeing Abbi work so hard. Obviously I love seeing her win, but it’s the hard work that makes me proud. But the one moment that truly stands out is when she won the Western Region Irish Dance competition for her age group. She beat out 84 girls after getting up at 5 am to train 2 hours and another 2 hours every night for 3 months. When they called her name she cried tears of pure joy because she knew she had earned that trophy. That dedication is what makes me proud. She earned her moment.
