What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Softball is a way to escape and really do something I love. I am able to be around and play with people I love, and have people there to support me. I am able to learn lessons of life while being challenged. I am able to push myself to get better.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My granddaddy played baseball, and I want to make him proud. My mom also Played softball and she is always there being my number one fan. They are my why.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

She makes me proud each and everyday on and off the field with her resilience and her need and want to grow and learn. She works tirelessly, and pushes herself to be the best she can.
