Adaline is the youngest and smallest in each sport or activity that she plays, but never allows it to affect her performance. Adaline’s love for basketball exceeds any fear presented to her, and loves the environment of competition and will challenge an opposing player of any age or size.
Sophie Cunningham. Sophie is fearless in how they train, play, and support their teammates. Adaline tries to emulate Sophie’s work ethic and intensity on the basketball court. Adaline also strives to be the best teammate she can be on and off the court. She is always trying to bring her team together and remind them that they win and lose together as a collective unit.
Adaline was asked to play a tournament on a team that was two grades older. Though Adaline was the smallest and youngest girl in the tournament, they did not show any sign of fear or hesitation. Adaline rose to the occasion and attacked the competition. She had an amazing performance and was one of the top scorers on the team. Adaline’s fearless nature and love of the game was showcased in this experience.
