What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreI love playing my position as goalkeeper in soccer. I love the intensity of the position and handle the stress of being the last line of defence with grace and dignity. I also enjoy the ability to lead my team with pride, but strive for my team to win any game by defending the goal. I also really enjoy getting down and dirty when diving for saves.
My Mom and Dad. I have watched my parents over the years work so hard at their jobs, often putting in overtime and weekend work or working late into the night to be able to provide for my sports equipment, goal keeper lessons, and private trainings. This has instilled me with the drive to make everything they have provided for me worthwhile, while also inspiring me to work hard to achieve my goals in life.
Addisyn has always made us incredibly proud! One recent special moment included her being the only female athlete, and only 1 of 6 goalkeepers, to attend a Serie A ID camp in Atlanta. She showed her skills and impressed the coaches so well that she was directly invited to Rome, Italy for the opportunity to train at their facility with professional Serie A coaches during the Summer 2027.
