What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I am not afraid to compete because it challenges me to grow, work harder, and become better every day. Baseball has taught me that success is earned through discipline, preparation, and consistency. Whether I'm training, working out, pitching, or playing the outfield, my goal is simple, be better today than I was yesterday.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Ronald Acuña Jr. inspires me because of his energy, confidence, and passion he brings to baseball. I admire the way he competes at a high level while still letting his personality show on the field. He plays with excitement, believes in his abilities, and positively impacts his teammates. He reminds me to play confidently, compete hard, have fun, bring energy to my team and to work on my Spanish homework!

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

One of my proudest moments was my 8th-grade baseball season. The team was young, with many 6th graders. I had the opportunity to step up as a leader. Instead of focusing only on my own performance, I encouraged younger teammates, helped them improve, and led by example, even I got injured for the season. That season taught me that being a great athlete isn’t just about talent, it’s about resilience and making the players around me better.
